# Contxt

> Contxt is an intelligence lab for art and culture. We distill discourse across institutions, themes and geographies. We make it legible to humans and machines, and help our clients map connections between artworks, artists, movements and ideas.

## What we do

Contxt builds conversational intelligence layers for art institutions, galleries, biennials, and other exhibitions. We work with archives and exhibitors to surface curatorial knowledge, organize cultural discourse, and connect artworks, artists, movements and ideas across institutions, themes and geographies. Our products allow art enthusiasts to navigate cultural programs by meaning rather than by metadata.

- [Contxt Venice](https://contxt.art/venice): Geo-Intelligence for Venice. Spans more than 900 artists and 190+ exhibitions across Venice during La Biennale di Venezia 2026 and its collateral programs. Visitors can discover exhibitions by asking about themes, topics and location. Includes a FITZ & CO-curated selection led by Founder & CEO Sara Fitzmaurice, organizing the Biennale into thematic pathways including Art and Technology, Regional Spotlight: Asia, and FITZ Founder Favorites.
- [Public Research Preview](https://contxt.art/bitforms): Conversational Intelligence spanning 25 years of bitforms gallery exhibition history. The full bitforms archive (150+ exhibitions across 25 years) is accessible through conversational AI - visitors can ask about an artist's practice or individual artworks and trace how themes evolved across decades of programming.
